Tai Chi is an ”Internal Martial Art”, which is characterized by its floating, calm and beautiful movements, where body and mind melt together in harmony, and is strengthened and relaxed.
TAI CHI ”The Form” also called the hand form is a series of movements done in a very slow pace. Hereby you strengthen your breathing, concentration, coordination, circulation and balance, both psychological and physically.
The technique in TAI CHI is based on self defence, which amongst others improves the balance, flexibility, fastness and inner strength of the practitioner.
Tai Chi Chuan means ”the mighty ultimate fist” a martial art which is based on the Yin and Yang principle, the two inseparable contradictions, where the soft overcomes the hard and vice versa.
Tai Chi will teach you to use your body in the right way and will also give you a better body posture. Beside that Tai Chi strengthen your back, hips and legs.
Tai Chi will teach you to make use of your breathing, where your inner organs automatically will be massaged, at the same time the blood circulation will increase, so the cells get more oxygen and nourishment.
The movements in Tai Chi make the energies in the meridians float freely. The meridians are the energy courses, which many of the alternative treatment systems of the East are based upon.
